Thursday, September 17th is the date set for this year’s annual Hospice Coffee Morning.
While the local branch will host a coffee morning in the former Tomo Burke Electrical premises on Lower Main St. – beside Hannon’s Fashion Shop. The committee is also inviting people to host an event in their own homes or businesses.
Meanwhile, Noeleen O’Shea and her daughter Maryanne will host a coffee morning on the coming Tuesday, September 15th at their home in Parknamullogue, Currow and they are inviting people to call between 9.30am and 4pm.
And on the following Saturday, September 19th – on the eve of the All-Ireland Football final – a coffee morning will also be held at the home of Bridjetta and Daniel Egan – opposite the football field in Cordal. Bridjetta has issued an invitation for people to call between 11am and 1pm on the day.
Coffee and promotional material will be provided by the Hospice branch members locally.
“This is a vey worthy cause and one of the main fundraisers in the locality for Hospice each year. There is flexibility around the event so if the 17th doesn’t suit you, then you can hold your event on any another morning,” said branch spokesperson, Liz Galwey.
