Chloe Palmer – Gardaí and family still appealing for news of the missing 16-year-old.

THE distraught family of a teenage girl missing from her home in Kilgarvan for the past week has pleaded with her to get in touch to let them know she is safe.

16-year-old Chloe Palmer hasn’t been seen since she left her family home in the early hours of last Wednesday, August 3.

A Garda spokesman said she is known to frequent the Killarney area on a regular basis but there is some suggestion that she may have travelled to another part of the country.

Distinctive Long Red Hair

Chloe is the daughter of Willie and Helen Palmer, Gorthloughera, Kilgarvan, and she has a sister and a younger brother.

She is described as being approximately 5’7″ in height, of slim build and she has distinctive long red hair. Her family said she can regularly look older than 16.

Two Bags of Clothes

Chloe, a student at Phobail Scoil Inbhear Sceine in Kenmare, left home in the early hours of the morning and it is understood that she brought two bags of clothes and other belongings with her.

She was in her bedroom at midnight but her mother discovered she was gone shortly after 6 o’clock the following morning. Her uncle David Foran, who lives in Killarney, said the family is understandably very worried about her and they have appealed with Chloe to get in touch with somebody to let them know she is okay.
