Benny Thade McCarthy of West Limerick 102FM sent an open invitation to people with stories to tell, songs to sing, poems to recite……
He wants a gathering of interesting people around him for the official launch of his monthly Rambling House at Fr. Casey’s GAA Clubhouse in Abbeyfeale on Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 8pm.
The evening will open with a mass at 8pm. This will be followed by the cutting of a ribbon by ‘Big Maggie’ – described by Benny Thade as ‘a fantastic singer and entertainer from Glin.’
The Magic of Radio
I know this is radio, but Big Maggie will be there and there will be a ribbon and a scissors and dancers – it’s been done before. And the magic of radio exercises one’s imagination like no other medium.
Benny is inviting: singers, song writers, musicians, dancers, storytellers and poets – and everybody from far and near to attend and ramble the night away. Tea and coffee and refreshments will be served along with mighty entertainment and a raffle to keep the show on the road. All that for €5 per night.
