The death has occurred of Jerry Carmody (80) Maglass, Ballymacelligott, Tralee, Co. Kerry and late of Chicago, U.S.A.
November 29th. 2016. Peacefully, at home in the tender loving care of his wife Marie and family. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Marie, his family John, Maureen, Timmy and Jeremiah, daughter-in-law Wendi, son-in-law Bill, his adored six grandchildren, brothers: Pat, Billy and Brendan, sisters: Kathleen, Nora, Phyllis and Mai, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
You know the way we like to ‘place’ people when we hear of someone passing on as Mr. Carmody did yesterday. I was in company last night and a man said to me: “You know him alright, he was the first man around here to light up his house at Christmas behind in Ballymac – and he brought the lights from America.” That placed him for me. May God be good to him.
