Benny Thade McCarthy will hold a rambling house on Thursday night, January 19th. 2017 at 8.30pm in Fr Casey’s GAA Clubhouse in Abbeyfeale.
This event will be in aid of the Friends of St. Ita’s Hospital, Newcastle West who recently purchased a bus to transport patients to and from the hospital.
It will also be used to bring people from and to their own homes to social activities taking place within and outside of the hospital.
“This is a very wordy cause as we have all being touched by the support and care of St. Ita’s Hospital over the years. We would appreciate your support on the night,” said Benny Thade.
Singers, Story-tellers, Musicians
“I would like to invite all singers, storytellers, musicians and dancers to attend on the night and join in on the fun and entertainment. The last gathering we had was in December where €660 was raised for Tony Noonan’s Charity Christmas Lights in Templeglantine.
“I would like to thank all the people for their continuous support and kindness to local charities through our fundraising Rambling Houses here in Abbeyfeale.
“I hope to see you all on January 19th. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be served and a raffle will also take place so come along and bring a friend.
Swich to Mondays in March
“For your diary, please note that all future rambling houses will run on the first Monday of every month at 8pm at Fr. Casey’s GAA Clubhouse from March 6th.
“The Thursday night was not suiting everybody and from discussions it has been agreed that the first Monday night would be better for all involved.
For further information contact Benny Thade on 087 99 18 546 and again thank you for all your support and a very happy new year to you all.
