Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club senior men’s team starts off its Co. League Division 1 programme for 2017 with an away game to Milltown-Castlemaine on this Sunday March 19th at 2pm.

Minors Host and Defeat Kenmare
The Desmonds minor boys team played Kenmare at home on Sunday last at home. This game was played in brilliant sunshine and with the score at half time at 1-6 to 1-5 in favour of Kenmare.
But with Desmonds upping the tempo in the second half we were to see them run out easy winners on the score of 3-15 to 1-8.
Their next game in the league is a Round 4 match when they play Gneeveguilla on March 25th at home in Castleisland.
Good Luck to Dr. Crokes
Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club sends its best wishes to Dr. Crokes of Killarney on St.Patrick’s Day when the play in the All Ireland Senior Club Final against Slaughneill of Derry in Croke Park later today.
All Kerry eyes will be on Colm Cooper and his team-mates. He has won every honour the game can bestow on a player – except that All-Ireland club medal.
Throw in for this game is at 5pm.
U-16 Boys First Game on Saturday
The U-16 boys team play their first game of this year’s Central Region League this coming Saturday March 18th. at home when the play Austin Stacks B. Throw in at 2pm.
Membership Forms Available
The 2017 club membership forms are available from club officers or can be printed off the club’s Facebook page.
Membership is at €100 for the year and the benefits include: a free entry to every club Lotto Draw and there were 20 draws in 2016; Free admission to all leagues home games; access to tickets to Kerry’s championship games including special budget family tickets when available and entry to a draw for All Ireland Tickets.
