This year, Kerry County Council, in association with Kerry Libraries and co-funded by the Arts Council, is bringing workshops in creative writing, painting, drawing and feltwork to libraries around Kerry.
Professional Artists
“These workshops are run by highly skilled, professional artists and will provide great learning opportunities to people over 55 interested in expressing themselves creatively,” said Kerry County Council Arts Officer, Kate Kennelly.

Poetry in Irish and English
Bríd Ní Mhóráin will give poetry writing workshops in Dingle Library and can accommodate both Irish and English language poetry May 19th and 26th. Tel: 066 91 51499

Tina Reed will give workshops in oil painting using the palette knife at Killarney Library on May 11th and 18th. Tel: 064 66 32655
