U-16s Back in Action
Currow U-16s recommence their County League campaign on Wednesday 19th July when they travel to Cahersiveen to play St Marys/Renard. Throw in is at 7:30pm.
U-14s Hosted Kenmare
On Monday 17th Currow played host to Kenmare Shamrocks in the final round of the East Kerry League. On the night the home side proved to have the upper hand and went on to win on a score line of Currow 5-17 to Kenmare’s 5-13. Next up is a Division 5 final against Firies in the East Kerry League with a date and venue to be confirmed.
U-12s Triumph in Blitz
On Saturday last 15th July, Currow U-12 team and management travelled to Scartaglin to participate in the Jack Rahilly Memorial blitz. Currow qualified for the Shield final after finishing second in their group and met Scartaglin in the final. Currow proved to have the edge on their opponents in the final and went on to win on a score of 0-5 to 0-3. Well done to the team and management on a great win.
On Tuesday our team made the journey to Fitzgerald Stadium Killarney to play in a Munster GAA Go Games. They played three games against opposition from Annascaul, Listry and Renard and the standard of football was very impressive.
Break for U-6s,U-8s and U-10s
There will be a summer break for the U-6s,U-8s and U-10s teams for a few weeks starting this Saturday, July 22nd . Training will recommence in the middle of August.
