Castleisland Camera Club representatives presented a cheque for €1,300 to Glebe Lodge Residential Centre on Saturday, December 2nd.
The cheque represented the proceeds from the club’s Charity Coffee Morning and Exhibition which was held, with outstanding success, at The Market House / J.K. O’Connor’s on Saturday, November 18th. last.
First Exhibition
On the occasion the club members got together for their first exhibition since they morphed into a unit in March of this year.
Apart from the fact that locals were delighted to see the building back as a centre of focus, they also appreciated the air of artistic endeavor created by the event and its content.

“We sincerely thank everyone who contributed in any way. And we were delighted with the support we got on the day of the exhibition and the buzz it created.
“We had our final meeting of the year recently and we’ll be back early in 2018. New members are always welcome,” said club spokesperson, Breda McGaley.
