With almost every parish in this locality represented on today’s NICC National Women’s Cup winning, St. Mary’s Basketball Team there should be a great welcome home this evening at 6pm.
Back in Town at 6pm
The Cup winning team will be back in town and outside Tom McCarthy’s Central Bar at Angelus time. They’re hoping for a bit of a turnout and God knows they deserve it.
A Long Season
It’s been a long season for them and they’ve bee at it hammer and thongs throughout the winter.
However, I’m sure they’ll feel that the elation today’s great win in Dublin brought will have made it all worthwhile.
This will be a great celebration for people of all ages.
Impressionable Children
Impressionable children should be brought along to witness what true community spirit can achieve.
