The next draw in the ongoing Knocknagoshel GAA Club Lotto will be for a jackpot of €7,000.
The draw will be held in Moynihan’s Bar, Headleysbridge on Saturday,March 3rd at 10pm.
Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL; Leahy’s Post Office; the local bars and usual sellers.
Fixtures and Results
The weather wasn’t kind on Sunday morning and with Asdee’s field ruled out of action both teams faced off in Listowel at noon.
Asdee lead at the break 0-6 to 0-1 after playing with the breeze. Knocknagoshel fought hard in the second half and clawed back the deficit to leave it honours even at the final whistle on a score of 1-6 to 0-9.
Knocknagoshel play Ballylongford in Knocknagoshel on Sunday next February 18th at 2p.m.
It would be great to see similar support to the first home match of the season so all Knocknagoshel supporters are urged to make time to visit Willie Walsh Park next Sunday at 2pm.
John Walsh in Corn Uí Mhuirí Final
Best wishes to Tralee CBS and our own John Walsh who face Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne in the final of Corn Uí Mhuirí on Saturday, February 24th at 1p.m. in Fitzgerald Stadium.
John has been in excellent form in the run up to the final and kicked the decisive point in the dying moments of the semi final to send his team through.

Registration for Underage Players
Registration for all underage players will take place on Sunday March 11th at 12.30p.m. in the log cabin.
Fees for 2018 ar: the first child in a family costs €20, the second child costs €15 and subsequent children in a family are free.
Membership Due
Membership of Knocknagoshel GAA Club is now open for 2018.
Membership remains the same price as last year. An ordinary member pays €30 for membership. Senior players pay €50, college students pay €30 while minor players pay €20. Benefits of membership are players are insured to play, ordinary members can use the track at the field and ordinary members can seek tickets from the club for Kerry games. It’s also a great way to show your support of the club. Membership can be paid to club officers between now and Mid-March. It can also be paid online through the club website www.knocknagoshel.gaa.ie.
Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection
Knocknagoshel GAA Club is holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club.
Bags can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes,handbags, curtains and towels.
