Cara Credit Union is calling on all college students and posing the question: ‘Would €1,500 help finance your studies?
If the answer is yes, then check out Cara Credit Union’s Education and Dan Kellegher Memorial Awards.
Full or Part Time Courses
Cara Credit Union’s Education Awards are open to undergraduates in a full-time course of at least two years duration and the Dan Kellegher Memorial Awards are open to post-graduates in a full or part-time course of at least one year’s duration.
In total, the credit union is giving away €10,500 to seven lucky members, each receiving €1,500 towards their chosen course of study.
Must be a Member
In order to enter you must be a member of Cara Credit Union, if you are not yet a member you can join before the September 30th awards deadline and still be eligible to enter the awards.
“We know it’s an expensive time of year, with a huge financial burden placed on students and their families. While our education awards don’t solve the problem, they do go a long way towards easing the financial pressure,” said Pa Laide, CEO of Cara Credit Union.
Quick Online Application
“We offer an easy and quick online application process on our website. All you have to do is visit our website – address below – and fill in your details and you could be one of seven lucky members randomly selected to win.
“For students who need a loan we have a very low student loan rate available to both students and their parents. We also have a low rate saver’s loan for parents who have saved up for college to give them the option to ‘spend it or save it’ on loans of €5,000 or more.
Easier to Repay Loan
“Most people find it easier to repay a loan than it is to save so they borrow on the strength of their savings.
“With our saver’s loan they still have their savings at the end of the loan plus they have the flexibility of knowing that they can repay their loan anytime without penalty.
Simply Log On
They also have peace of mind of free life cover on both their loans and their savings with our Loan Protection and Life Savings Insurance.” said Mr. Laide.
