The death has occurred of Dermot ‘Big D’ Flynn,
Kilquane, Cordal, Castleisland.

October 27th 2018. Peacefully after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry.

Sadly missed by his wife Ann, son Shane, daughter Lucille, daughter-in-law Maureen, his adored grandchildren Jack. Amy and Enda, his sisters Mary, Sheila and Margaret, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, all extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

While Dermot was his little used christian name he was far better known as ‘Big D.’

He was a great and long servant of Cordal GAA Club and that commitment was honoured at the end of May 2015 with a ‘This is Your Life’ presentation which packed the local community centre there.

May God be good to him.
