The death has occurred of Danny O’Connor, College Road, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and late of Dulague, Castleisland and Ballintourigh, Scartaglin.
An ex employee of C.I.T. Abbeyfeale and Burlington, Tralee, Danny (70) passed peacefully on December 17th 2018 after a short illness bravely borne.
Danny was surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of Dr. Sheehan and her team at the Palliative Care Unit of University Hospital Kerry.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons: Ian, Darren and Aidan, daughters-in-law Karen and Irene, his adored five grandchildren: Chloe, Kian, Katelyn, Yannick and Elana Rose, sisters Kathleen Breen, Beaufort and Mary in the US. His brothers: Timmy, Noel, Eddie and Peter, Uncle Dan in the U.S, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home, Church Street, Castleisland on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to Castleisland Parish Church.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am.
Burial afterwards in St. John’s Cemetery, Castleisland. Family flowers only.
Donations in lieu to Palliative Care. House private please.
