The Christmas lotto draw for a jackpot of €7,900 was held in O’Connor’s Bar on Saturday night last. The numbers drawn were 10, 14, 22 and 27. There was no winner of the jackpot.
The five lucky dips of €100 each were won by: Micheál Walsh, Clashnagough; Ella Lawlor, Lyreacrompane; Catherine Brosnan, Templeglantine; Noelle Enright, Laccanoneen and Katie Harnett, Abbeyfeale.
The next draw will be for a jackpot of €8,000 and will be held in Walsh’s Bar on Saturday 12th of January.
Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL; Leahy’s Post Office; Hungry Ed’s and the local bars and usual sellers.
Christmas Parish League Final
Following on from the success of last year’s match, Knocknagoshel Green will play Knocknagoshel Gold in this year’s parish final with the gate receipts going to Pieta House.
The match will take place at 3p.m. on this Saturday December 22nd at Willie Walsh Park Knocknagoshel.
Players young and old are invited to declare their interest in taking part by contacting Dan Roche or John O’Keeffe.
Annual General Meeting
Knocknagoshel GAA Club will hold its Annual General Meeting on Saturday December 29th at 6p.m. in the log cabin at Willie Walsh Park.
Nominations and motions for the coming year must be with secretary John O’Keeffe by post or email to secretary.knocknagoshel.kerry@gaa.ie prior to Christmas.
All members are welcome to attend this meeting.
Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection
Knocknagoshel GAA Club holds an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags of clothes can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the football field.
All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes, handbags, curtains and towels.
Please note that duvets are not accepted.
