Independence Day, the 4th of July was very lucky for one Cara Credit Union member.

Denise O’Dowd’s name was picked from the members’ car draw and the teacher in Scoil Eoin, Balloonagh, Tralee drove away with a brand new 192 Hyundai Kona purchased from Adams of Tralee.

Denise, daughter of Denis and Marian Costello from Blackrock, Tralee, lives in Dingle with her husband Seamus and children, Fionn, Oisin and Muireann.

Plenty of Milage

I cannot believe that I won the car, It’s a prize of a lifetime,” said Denise in response to her great win.

Obviously being a teacher in Tralee and living in Dingle, I am never off the road so this car will get plenty of mileage and it will be great to be able to drive in style.

I have also been blown away by the spirit of goodwill from everyone since my name was chosen. “People have been so kind and sincere and genuinely wishing me well. It’s a great draw to be in,” said a delighted Denise.
