Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club’s annual general meeting will be held on Sunday, December 1st in the River Island Hotel at 7.30pm.
All members are urged to attend as this is the most important club meeting of the year.
All positions on the executive can be contested but the nominees must be paid up members as must the proposers and seconders.
Nominations and motions for discussion can be obtained from the outgoing secretary, Colm Kirwan and must be returned to him by 5pm. on Thursday, November 28th.
No late motions or nominations will be accepted.
Club Lotto at €6,700
The latest Lotto draw took place in Browne’s Bar and the numbers drawn were 3, 25, 26 and 28.
There was no winner of the jackpot.
Lucky dip prizes were won by: Colum Nolan, Moanmore, €30 and €20 each by Adam and Grace McCarthy, Currow; Kevin Nelligan, Castleisland; Conor Moriarty, Listowel and Tom Twomey, Castleisland.
The next draw is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th with a jackpot of €6,700.
