Calling all parents and Community Games supporters – there is a meeting in the Hall on Monday, February 3rd. at 8pm to discuss Brosna’s possible involvement in the Kerry Community Games in 2020.

Without support from parents and volunteers, it will be impossible for the parish to take part in the games.
A reminder, the games cover a wide range of events from team sports such as indoor soccer to running, gymnastics, art and much more.
Looking forward to a good turn out for this important meeting.
If you are interested in getting involved but unable to attend the meeting please contact Séamus O’Connor on 087 06 83 521.

Remembering Kieran Corridan
A plaque in honour of Kieran Corridan of Kilmanihan was unveiled in Pairc na Feile on Sunday.
Before a large crowd that included Kieran’s wife, Mary, his son Trevor, his extended family and friends, the plaque was blessed by Fr. David Gunn and unveiled by Trevor and Kieran’s brother Paddy.
Kieran’s surviving team-mates from the historic Kerry Novice Cup winning team of 1969 brought North Kerry veterans from Brosna and Knocknagoshel together.
Kieran’s dedication as a player for Brosna was followed by a long and distinguished career as a referee across the county and beyond.
