Semi Final, Here We Come

Strand Road in Tralee was the venue for the quarter final clash between Listry and Brosna.

This county junior football championship competition saw a strong first half by Listry that left Brosna trailing by six points at half time.

The brisk wind in the second half, coupled with an energised performance by Brosna saw an incredible comeback.

Adam’s Poise and Leadership

Notable on the pitch were Adam Barry who showed tremendous poise and leadership.

Defenders Maurice O’Keefe and Shane Fitzmaurice were stalwarts in defence too.

The work rate by our players all over the pitch showed a determination that saw Brosna win with a final score of Brosna 15 to Listry 1-8.

Which team we meet in the semi final has yet to be determined but it is certainly something to look forward to.
