Cllr. Bobby O’Connell dropped a note and a photograph to let us know that the bad section of footpath at Castle View on the Cordal Road is being repaired.
“I have been campaigning for this since 2017 submitting notices of motion during that time,” said Cllr. O’Connell.
“It is one of the most frequently used circuits in the locality for walkers and pedestrians and it was in a deplorable condition for some time.
“The elderly and people with disabilities found it inaccessible and dangerous so it will come as great relief that this has now been rectified,” Cllr. O’Connell concluded.
