Being ever mindful of its Covid-19, 5K limit obligations, Castleisland Rugby Club switched its big Split the Bucket €1,000 super draw from its intended location of the Half-Way Shop in Ballymacelligott the The Chicken Club in Castleisland on Saturday afternoon.
Saturday’s event saw the unveiling of the €1,000 draw winner and the normal Split the Bucket weekly winner.
Castleisland RFC PRO Nóirín Uí Chathasaigh sent the following results with New Year greetings and thanks to all the club’s members and its draw supporters in this and our neighbouring parishes.
Great Start to 2021 for Eileen
The winner of the Split the Bucket Draw held in The Chicken Club on Saturday, January 2nd. was Eileen O’Mahony, Castleisland. Eileen won €1,108.
Paudie O’Connell is the €1,000 Winner
The bonus draw for €1,000 was also carried out on Saturday. There was a total of 34 entrants in this draw and the lucky winner was Paudie O’Connell also from Castleisland.
The next of the weekly Split the Bucket draws will be held in Martin Curtin’s Shop on the coming Saturday, January 9th at 3.30pm.
