I got the following message in earlier with the appeal for a missing dog.
“My friend Eileen’s dog Lizzie is gone missing from the Cordal area since Wednesday. Could you post it on your page for people to keep an eye out for her.”
She went missing before in the run-up to Christmas with another dog from the same household and wound up in Knocknagoshel.
We ran the photograph in The Maine Valley Post then and it was spotted by Joan O’Shea and she found and kept them safe for collection.
“She has a habit of breaking free of any collar we put on her and unfortunately she’s not chipped. We’re only hoping we’ll get our little doggie back and, if we do, this time she’s off to get chipped,” said Eileen.
