The Late Sr. de Sales Horgan, Ballyhorgan, Lixnaw, Presentation Sisters Tralee and Dingle

The death has occurred of Sr. de Sales Horgan, Presentation Sisters, Castle Street, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly of Ballyhorgan, Lixnaw, Co. Kerry and Presentation Convent Dingle.

Sr. de Sales passed away peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of University Hospital Kerry, on Easter Sunday, April 4th. 2021.

Predeceased by her sister, Sr. Patrick, Presentation Convent Castleisland and brothers Tim and John. Deeply regretted by the Presentation Sisters, her sisters in law, Mary in Ballyhorgan and Rita in Abbeyfeale, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Sr. De Sales Horgan was a sister of the Presentation Convent based, Sr. Patrick Horgan who, coincidentally, also died on an  Easter Sunday. 

Sr. Patrick died in 2019 in the Fatima Nursing Home, Tralee.

In accordance with Government and HSE Guidelines, and in the interest of public health, a private The funeral Mass for Sr. de Sales will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Green St. Dingle, at 12.00 noon today Wednesday, April 7th.

Sr. De Sales Horgan’s Mass will be followed by private interment in the Presentation Convent Cemetery, Green Street, Dingle.
