In 2015 Castleisland native Denis Casey joined the AA Euro Group – a recruitment company founded in 2005 by Larry Ryan with home offices in Waterford, Cork and Kildare and others much further afield.

The company’s focus is on the provision of trades and labour to construction projects and manufacturing facilities.

Denis Casey was tasked with establishing the Euro Executive Recruitment wing of the business which links professional staff to clients in multiple industries in Ireland and across Europe.

Offices Throughout Europe

“We have grown the business in recent years, opening offices in the UK, Poland, Romania, Croatia and the Netherlands,” said Denis.

“Our German operations will be established in July 2021. Through these offices we secure staff with niche skill-sets for our clients. Euro Executive Recruitment recruits across the engineering, construction, finance, manufacturing, HR and IT sectors.

Opportunities in Kerry

“We are now working with a number of building contractors who are seeking staff for projects in Kerry and across the Munster region.

“We are seeking experienced quantity surveyors and project managers for residential building projects in Kerry.

“We’re also seeking site foremen and civil engineers for a new, large civil engineering project on the Kerry/ Cork border.

“These vacancies present a fantastic opportunity for Kerry people to return to the region and be closer to family and friends,” said Denis.

Working from Home

“I’m seeing clients being far more open to staff work from home particularly on the back of Covid 19.

“This is something that is not going to change post Covid. I have spoken with many candidates from Kerry in recent months who are now looking at a return home as a realistic option with the work from home movement.

“Two good examples of this are a senior software developer from Dingle securing a fully remote role with a German based Tech client.

Returned from London

“This candidate returned home to Dingle, having worked in Dublin for eight years.

“At the beginning of April we placed a construction project planner from Killarney with a Cork based building contractor.

“This role requires one day per week in the clients Cork office. This candidate returned home to Killarney, having worked in London for 10 years,” said Denis in conclusion.
