Glamour and Glitz as Desmonds Celebrate Unprecedented Run of Success

Saturday night, November 5th was an all glamour and glitz occasion as the Castleisland Desmonds Celebration Social got underway at the River Island Hotel.

The night was to mark the achievements of the senior and junior men teams. The seniors were awarded medals for the North Kerry League 2020 and 2022, the North Kerry Championship 2020 and 2021 and the County League Division 2 of 2022.

The junior were awarded their accolades for the North Kerry Junior League Division 3 2022 and the Junior County League McElligott Shield 2022.

Chairman, Willie Dom O Connor, in his opening speech, thanked all the players, mentors, trainers and their families for the dedication and commitment shown to the club over the past number of years.

He said it was a wonderful occasion to have everyone in the room having overcome the trials and tribulations that Covid 19 brought to the sport.
