A Handed Down programme is being planned for the Sliabh Luachra Heritage Centre in Scartaglen on the coming Saturday night, April 15th at 8pm sharp under the following intriguing title: The Road to Glountane Bus Tour Retrospective.
Presented jointly by Nickie McAuliffe and Con Moynihan the event will showcase last May’s World Fiddle Day Bus Tour through Sliabh Luachra heartlands and famous landmarks.
Book Seat for 2023 Tour
With exclusive video footage of the day’s highlights and photos it will be a great reminder to people to book their seats for the 2023 Tour.
“RTÉ Radio One broadcaster Aoife Nic Chormaic was present to record some brilliant talks and music but in Scartaglin, on Saturday night, people now have a chance to view the footage and see who was on the tour in great historical video recordings as we toured the famed Sliabh Luachra,” said Handed Down founder member PJ Teahan.
Opportunities for Young Musicians
“As this is the second last night of the 2022 / ’23 series we have loads of young musicians who are getting a chance to play on stage.
The ‘Tune Learning Session’ is on beforehand at 6.45pm with Con Moynihan upstairs in the Heritage Centre in Scart and the main event will start at 8pm sharp,” said P.J. Seats on the bus can be booked by ringing P.J. on 087 85 16 695.
