Temporary Closing of Roads in Castleisland – Any Objections ?

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, and the Temporary Closing of Roads Regulations 1994, Kerry County Council is proposing to close to public traffic the following road:

Closure 1: N21 Castleisland Northbound and Southbound between Roundabout with L2041 to the North and Roundabout with R577/N23 to the South.

Closure 2: N23 Castleisland Northbound between the Roundabout with the L2040 to the south and the Roundabout with R577/N23 to the North.

Phase 2: Closure 3: N21 Castleisland Southbound between Roundabout with L2041 to the North and Roundabout with R577/N23 to the South.

Closure 4: N23 Castleisland Northbound and Southbound between Roundabout with R577/N23 to the North and the Roundabout with the L2040 to the south.

Road Closing Times: From Sunday, October 1st. to Saturday, October 28th 2023, from 7pm to 6am – night time closure.

The purpose of the road closure is to facilitate pavement works and alternative routes will be clearly signposted.

Local access will be provided for Emergency Services and local residents.

Objections in Writing, Please

Any person having an objection to the above proposal should lodge same, in writing, marked Road Closure, with the Administrative Officer, Roads, Transportation and Marine Department, County Buildings, Tralee, County Kerry or by e-mail to roads@kerrycoco.ie not later than 4pm. on Monday, September 11th 2023.

To enable the processing of submissions/ objections Kerry County Council can legally process this information, as necessary, to comply with its statutory/legal obligations.
