Tá an leagan amach mar an gcéanna ag an dá rang – comhrá beirte, crosfhocail, amhrán difriúil gach seachtain, tráth na gceist agus aoi chainteoir anois agus aris.
Bíonn ‘Pop Up Gaeltacht’ acu le linn Fhéile Pádraig Uí Chaoimh, ceann i gCnoc na gCaiseal, ceardlanna filíochta i gCúl Ó Socht agus i gCaislean na Mainge.
Faoi láthair tá siad ag cur leabhar filíochta le chéile agus súil acu go mbeidh sé I gcló i gcúpla seachtain.
Twenty Years a Growing
The local Irish language group ‘Cúpla Focal agus Cupán Tae’ is twenty years’ old and going from strength to strength with two classes organised for this season.
Beginners Irish learners will have their own class starting Thursday 28 September from 7.30 – 9pm. for 10 weeks. The usual class will be held starting Tuesday, September 26th from 7.30 – 9pm. for ten weeks.
Both classes will take place in the Áras Carnegie, Old library, Upper Main Street.
Similarity of Classes
Both courses will consist of conversation in pairs, crosswords, a different song every week, quiz and a guest speaker now and again.
A ‘Pop up Gaeltacht’ will be held during the Patrick O’Keeffe Music Festival and in Knocknagoshel and poetry workshops in Cordal and Castlemaine and the group is preparing a poetry book which will be published shortly.
