Recent winners, Seán Gallagher, Scartaglen, a €709 prize winner and Micheál Reidy, Galway a winner of €726 collected and had cheques collected respectively.

At Saturday’s draw, host Margaret Moloney picked out Mary McMahon’s envelope for a €700 win. Mary is from Currow and placed her Split the Bucket entry in the draw in McCarthy’s shop in her home village.

“Our last three winners were from Galway, Scartaglen and Currow – so we had a wide spread of recent winners,” said club PRO, Brian O’Sullivan.

The coming Saturday night’s draw will be held in Fleming’s Bar in Scartaglin at around 9pm.
