It was a Monday to remember in Kilmurry National School when much loved and admired teacher Eilís Lynch returned to school with her All-Star award.
All the pupils dressed in their Kerry colours and brought flags and home made posters to mark this joyous occasion.
“It has been a fantastic year for Eilís and the staff members of Kilmurry were delighted that all her hard work and dedication was rewarded in Dublin at the weekend.
“Eilís is an outstanding role model for the pupils of Kilmurry NS and she has paved the way for all children to realise their potential.
“Reach for the stars and some day you might just reach them,” said Eilís’s colleague and former Kerry footballer, Joanne Brosnan.
