With over 28 years of invaluable experience in the business, Lisa has established herself as a trusted professional with a keen eye for market trends and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to her clients.

Her academic journey has equipped her with a diverse skill set to excel in her field. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours Degree in counselling and psychotherapy, demonstrating her understanding of human behaviour and interpersonal dynamics, which enriches her approach to client interactions and negotiations. Additionally, Lisa has pursued further education with a diploma in property law and a certificate in marketing.

Truly Honoured to be President

Lisa said she feels truly honoured to be president of IPAV and is very excited to step up to the challenge for the year ahead.

“I was also delighted to hold IPAV’s annual business conference and gala dinner in our fabulous city of Limerick this year and in the Greenhills Hotel.
“It was also so lovely to have so many fellow Limerick agents attend and the camaraderie that is in Limerick was certainly felt and commented on by quite a few attendees both on the day of the conference and that night. In fact quite a few declared that they were considering moving to Limerick such was the buzz and energy they felt here,” said Lisa as she explained what the role and the chain of office entails and imposes on the wearer in the course of the tenure:

Not Solely About One Person
“Being president of IPAV is not solely about one person; it entails the collective participation of all members, board members and staff.

“Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is extremely important to me and so I was delighted and proud to introduce and implement an EDI policy at IAPV. To be part of and to belong to an institute that breaks down barriers, embraces diversity and advocates for equality is genuinely inspiring,” said Lisa and she continued:

“This policy guarantees that each of our members, irrespective of gender, race, sexual orientation or background, feel appreciated, listened to, recognized, and included. In addition to our dedication to EDI, I am equally passionate about tackling the issue of mental health within our industry. It is essential that we cultivate an environment where mental well-being takes precedence and is destigmatised.

Leading by Example
“At IPAV, we aim to lead by example and inspire others within our industry to prioritize mental health in the workplace. I’m incredibly proud and delighted  that our institute joined forces last year with the groundbreaking mental health awareness campaign titled ‘The Elephant in the Room’ championed by the inspiring Brent Pope. Mental health is a crucial aspect of our overall well-being and by openly discussing and addressing it, we break down the barriers that too often prevent individuals from seeking help.

Light on Mental Health Issues
The Elephant in the Room campaign aims to shed light on mental health issues, encouraging dialogue, understanding and support within our communities.

“IAPV was one of the forerunners and an industry leader in getting involved with this fantastic  campaign last year by commissioning our very own ‘Ellie IPAV Phant’ and by being part of this great campaign  we are contributing to a broader movement – a movement towards creating a space where every person, like you and me, can be their true, authentic selves without fear or judgment.” “I’m genuinely excited about the journey ahead and the positive impact we can collectively make.

“So as we move forward, let’s not forget that the true strength of our institute lies not only in our business triumphs but also in the support, understanding, and compassion we show one another,” she concluded.
