Library Car Park Solidarity Gathering for Brave Natasha O’Brien on Tuesday at 7pm

Dusting herself down after a bruising local election campaign – on which she has been complemented by fellow candidates, Sinn Féin’s Deirdre Bell rang to issue an invitation to the women and men of the area to stand in solidarity with the brave Natasha O’Brien tomorrow evening, Tuesday, June 25th at 7pm in Castleisland.

“As many of ye of know, Natasha O’Brien, is a young woman who was failed by the justice system in Ireland having being brutally beaten by a member of the defence forces,” said Deirdre.

Stand in Solidarity with Natasha

“A solidarity march will be taking place at the Dáil on Tuesday. For those of us who cannot make it to Dublin, we will stand in solidarity in our own town of Castleisland.

“This will take place tomorrow Tuesday, June 25th at 7pm and meeting at the Castleisland Library car park. Please come along to show your support. #justicefornatasha

Ms. Bell has form on standing in solidarity with female victims of outrageous crimes in recent years.

She organised a similar, candle light vigil, gathering at the Library car par in Castleisland in the wake of the murder of the tragic Ashling Murphy on the banks of the Grand Canal near Tullamore on a winter’s day in January 2022.
