O’Connors Turn Up in Club Colours to Help Mom Denise Collect Split Cheque

Members of the O’Connor family, Jamie and Kerrie from Currow in their club colours as they collected mom Marie’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket cheque from President Matt Keane at The Crageens clubhouse.

Last week’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket winner, Denise O’Connor from Currow is an under-age team coach with the club and her children Jamie and Kerrie are club players.

They turned out in their club colours to help their mom to collect her winnings of €673 from President Matt Keane.

This week’s draw was on in Fagan’s Bar and Jerome Hartnett did the honours and picked out this the latest winner.

Marie Fitzgerald from Brosna won €600 and the next draw is on Saturday evening at Ann Mac’s Circle K at around 5pm where Marie’s cheque will be waiting for her.

How to Play Split the Bucket

Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in shops and pubs throughout this and neighbouring parishes.

You simply put your €2 in the envelope, seal it and sign it and add your telephone number and pop it in the bucket or the club coloured, red and blue stands.
