The green, green grass of home can grow to an overwhelming and long fingered problem for many people at this time of year.

Anyone in the Castleisland area looking for a man with a mower need look no further that Barrack Street’s James O’Connor

If your requirements include the maintenance of grass spaces and lawns, path edgings, patios and associated work involved in keeping your green spaces tidy and weed free, then, James is your man.

Known as ‘The Boss’ from his basketball days, his work and play are all on grass these days as he’s quite an accomplished Castleisland Pitch and Putt Club player.

Tools of Occupation

Under the O’Connor Grass Maintenance working title, the straight talking James is available to anyone in the locality who needs their lawns and gardens maintained.

The tools of his occupation tell a lot about his approach to his work. Strapped to his powerful mower are a collection bag, a rake and a sweeping brush – tools of task dedication and tidiness.

James also finds, from years of experience, that gardens with trees can pose an added worry to people of advanced age because of the underfoot dangers of decaying leaves on drives and footpaths in autumn and winter.
