Appeal from Castleisland Native Isolated In London Hospital from Tralee Based Family

Castleisland native Theresa Cremins-Moriarty is appealing for funds to help her with air ambulance transport home to Tralee after suffering a stroke in London.

Castleisland native Theresa Moriarty, nee Cremins, from Cahereens and a sister of Dan, Patsy, Jerry and Denis finds herself in a London hospital and isolated from her Tralee based children while recovering from a stroke.

Theresa is hoping to raise enough funds for air ambulance transport from London to Tralee and she’s appealing to members of the public here to help her in her mission to get home.

Theresa’s message is as follows:

“Hello I’m Theresa, originally from Castleisland. I married and raised my children in Tralee in Kevin Barry’s Villas.

After my husband Tommy passed away I moved to London to live with my son, Patrick, who sadly passed away three years ago.

I’m currently in King’s College Hospital in London after suffering from a stroke and I desperately need to get back home to Tralee to be with my family so they can continue my care.

I’m kindly asking if you could donate the price of a cup of tea to help fund an air ambulance to bring me back home.”
