Brosna Knocknagoshel LGFA GAA Action

Congrats to Brosna Knocknagoshel LGFA senior squad members who in their second outing had a thrilling win over Milltown Castlemaine.

The match got off to a slow start for our crew but in the second half they found their rhythm. Notable mention to Clodagh Fitzgerald who scored a wonderful goal from a penalty.

Also to Aoife Lane who found the net in the course of the game. Power on, ladies. You are inspirational.

Tough Journey for Seniors

The Brosna senior men’s journey through the championship was challenging and has sadly ended.

Coming up against two very strong sides, Firies and Ardfert, was tough.

Roll on North Kerry championship when the squad has a great opportunity to add some more silverware to their season.

Thought for the Week

There’s an old African proverb. If you want to travel fast, travel alone. If you want to travel far, travel with others.

Life is a journey. We start at birth and are nurtured through our early years, all the while learning and growing.

When we leave our family nests to strike out in careers and relationships, how we travel and what the journey feels like is very much a product of our choices and beliefs.

Where possible, make quality connections. Choose travelling companions who not only support and encourage the best parts of you but are ready to comfort and help you when the going is tough. Likewise, look around you and see where you can bring compassion and understanding to anyone on your pathway.

These connections are the milestones that make life both memorable and extraordinary. Bon voyage.
