Roadstone has been employed by Kerry County Council to complete the refurbishment of the footpaths on Main Street, Castleisland. The company has issued an advance notice of the works with built-in warnings of possible hazards for members of the public to be aware of.
The warning notice (below) was passed on by Cllr. Charlie Farrelly and the programmed start date of the road works is on the coming Monday morning, August 26th 2024.
“Work will commence at 8am and may extend to 8pm. On-road parking will be prohibited in areas where works are taking place.
Residents will be informed prior to works commencing in these areas.
Temporary Hazards, Joints and Ramps
Drivers and pedestrians are required to exercise caution due to the temporary hazards of raised services, joints and ramps and so on. Please remove all seating, tables etc from the paths and roadway in the areas where works are taking place. Residents will be informed prior to works commencing in these areas.
Directions of Site Personnel
Please follow the directions of site personnel if you require assistance. Access will be maintained to all premises.
We regret an inconvenience to works may cause and we assure you that we will be as speedy as possible with the work.”
