Campaign in its 24th Year
The Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) has called on individuals, families, schools, and community groups to embrace their inner monster and host a Trick or Treat for sick children Halloween party. The campaign is in its 24th year and has helped sick children throughout Ireland over that time.
“There is no greater worry for any parent than having their child in hospital or under hospital care,” according to a statement which came with the invitation to join in the nationwide fundraising movement.
The Best Medical Attention
“Knowing that their child will receive the very best medical attention with life-saving equipment is the only consolation, at what can be the darkest time in their lives.
Parents like Maria, mother of Méabh, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of just three. She spent a total of 30 weeks in Children’s Health Ireland at Temple Street,” according to the statement.
All Donations to the CHF
All donations from the Castleisland puppet show will go to the Children’s Health Foundation which raises vital funds to support sick children and their families in Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres in Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly.
