An Ríocht AC 50/50 Draw Continues as Couch To 5K Returns on Mondays and Thursdays

Couch to 5K returned to An Ríocht AC on Monday night at 7:15pm and it will continue its twice weekly run on Monday’s at 7:15pm and on Thursdays at 6pm.

An Ríocht 50/50 Draw took place at Walsh Bros. Electrical on Friday last.

James Scanlon was present to collect his cheque for €540 from the previous week. James pulled out the winning ticket for €800 and Mary Horan from Castleisland was the lucky winner. Mary

will be collecting her cheque at The Forge on Friday.

Return of Couch 25K to An Ríocht AC

Couch 25K returned to An Ríocht Athletic Track on Monday evening at 7.15pm.

Over 130 men, women and children took part on a beautiful dry evening. It will continue its twice weekly run on Monday’s at 7:15pm and on Thursdays at 6pm.

Walkers are just as welcome as joggers to come along and enjoy the safety of walking on the track now that the dark evenings have arrived. Couch 25k will continue until the 12th of December and you can pay as you go at the gate at €3 per evening.

It will continue after Christmas with a goal of tackling a 5K in early Spring.
