The Late Valerie O’Sullivan, née Prendiville, Mount Pleasant, Waterford City and formerly of 123 Upper Main Street, Castleisland, Co. Kerry

The death has occurred of Valerie O’Sullivan née Prendiville, late of Rosewood Drive, Mount Pleasant, Waterford City and formerly of 123 Main Street, Castleisland, Co. Kerry.

Valerie passed peacefully in University Hospital Waterford surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 RIP.

She is predeceased by her beloved parents Tadhg and Patty.

Valerie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her loving husband Neil, sons Conor and Tim; daughters Aoife, Síomha, Cliona and Méabh; her treasured grandchildren Harry, Emma, Rose, Lily, Stanley, Milo, Conn, and Nora; her brothers Norman and Albert; her sons-in-law Ciarán and Jim; her daughters-in-law Julie and Gráinne and her sisters-in-law Helen and Bernie.

She will be sadly missed by all her nieces, nephews, all her relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours, and her many friends.

The O’Sullivan family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff on the Medical Ward and the Oak Ward for the exceptional care Valerie received throughout her illness.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Valerie’s Funeral Arrangements

Valerie will be reposing in Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co. Waterford on Friday, November 22nd from 5pm to 7pm with refreshments served throughout.

All are welcome.

Valerie’s Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, November, 23rd at 12 noon at The Sacred Heart Church, The Folly, Waterford City.

Immediately after Valerie will be laid to rest in St. Declan’s Cemetery, Tramore, Co. Waterford.

Valerie’s funeral cortege will walk from the bottom of the Folly at approximately 11:40am, weather permitting, to arrive for her Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Family flowers only. House private at all times please.
