The students and staff of Presentation Secondary School, Castleisland have come together once again to make Christmas a little brighter for children in developing countries through their Christmas Shoe-box Appeal.

This year, with the incredible generosity of the school community, over eighty boxes were filled with toys, treats and essential items.

These boxes will be distributed to children who might not otherwise receive any gift this holiday season, bringing a touch of joy and excitement to their lives.

Supporting Those in Need

Organised in partnership with the Hope Foundation, the project highlights the school’s commitment to supporting those in need and raising awareness among students of global poverty and hardship.

The Hope Foundation helps to empower communities in fourteen countries across Africa and Eastern Europe and supports societies to grow, develop and flourish.

A Message of Compassion

“The school wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, especially the families and local community members who contributed to making this year’s collection such a success.

“Each box represents not only practical support but also a message of compassion, kindness and hope for the future,” according to a statement from the school.
