We’re asked to please note that on this Friday evening, November 29th at 7pm in Castleisland Parish Church, Mass will be offered for parishioners who died here since November 1st 2023.
“Among life’s most traumatic experiences is the loss of a loved one through death and November affords us the opportunity to feel particularly close to loved ones who have died. Our great gift to them is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass,” – Fr. Mossie Brick.
A total of 71 people from the parish died between November 1st 2023 and the corresponding date in 2024.
There’s a lot of community wide, individual and shared sadness involved in the passing of everyone on the list below.
Tom Horan of Inch, is the last on the list and the photograph of the parish church which is accompanying the article was taken from Tom’s river field in March 2000.
May they all rest in peace.
