Castleisland’s Christmas Launch on Friday Afternoon at 3pm.

Christmas will be launched in Castleisland on this Friday, December 6th with blessings, bells and whistles and in association with Castleisland Chamber Alliance.

The blessing of the crib at The Fountain by Fr. Mossie Brick is planned for 3pm followed up with carol singing by the local primary sschools.

At 3.20pm the ceremonial switching on of Castleisland Christmas Lights by Tadhg and Derry Fleming.

Jingle and Mingle After Dark

After dark at 5.30pm there’s a ‘Jingle & Mingle’ at Walsh Electrical car park with Santa arriving and looking forward to meeting children of any age.

The evening will be enhanced by a complimentary barbecue, snacks, mulled wine and hot chocolate and craft stalls.

On what was once one of the biggest and busiest weekends on the market town’s calendar, you’re invited to come along and join in the celebrations with your community.
