On Wednesday, December 18th, Muire Gan Smál came alive with the festive spirit as the school hosted its highly anticipated Christmas plays.
Each class delivered a unique and delightful performance, showcasing an incredible range of talent and creativity from the students.
The event, held in the school hall, was a heartwarming celebration of the holiday season, featuring a variety of entertaining performances that captivated the audience. From humorous skits to touching renditions of classic Christmas stories, the dedication and effort of the students was evident in every moment on stage.
Heartfelt Gratitude to All
“We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parents’ association, whose support was invaluable on the night. Their hard work in organising and serving teas , coffees and buns added a welcoming touch to the evening and ensured the audience felt at home,’ said Principal Séamus Moynihan.
“A sincere thank you also goes to our teachers and special needs assistants, whose dedication and tireless efforts in preparing the students made the performances truly shine. Their support and guidance were essential both behind the scenes and on the night of the event.
All Expectations Exceeded
“A special thank you goes to the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and extended family members who attended in such impressive numbers. The turnout exceeded all expectations, and the enthusiasm and encouragement from the audience made the event truly unforgettable.
“The support and participation from the community reminds us of the joy and unity the Christmas season brings. We are so proud of our students and deeply grateful to everyone who made this evening such a wonderful success, ” said Mr. Moynihan.
