Family and friends of the late Kathleen Daly, Cois na hAbhainn, Firies have organised a five kilometer walk in her native village on the coming Saturday, January 18th at 2pm – on an occasion close to her first anniversary.
Kathleen died on Monday, January 8th 2024 and her family and friends have organised the walk in her honour and in appreciation of the services of the Irish Kidney Association.
The gathering point for the walk will be the Church of St. Gertrude in Firies before the 2pm start. The event will be followed by refreshments and a raffle at Butler’s Bar in the village.
All proceeds will be presented to the Irish Kidney Association – the services of which Kathleen availed of in her latter years.
