Castleisland Family Resource Centre to Host Circle of Security Parenting Programme

Castleisland Resource Centre is to host a Circle of Security Parenting Programme from the end of this month over an eight week course.

Circle of Security Parenting programme is for parents of children from new born to six years old. This program is meant for all parents, biological parents, grand-parents, adoptive parents and foster parents can all benefit from this programme.

Many themes discussed in the Circle of Security can be applied to a variety of different contexts.

The program is based on enhancing strengths, the Circle of Security is non-judgmental and helps parents find their inner strengths to deal effectively with their children.

Eight Week Programme

It will be delivered by Alice Moore, Public Health Nurse and Noreen Geaney, Community Families Programme HSE and will take place in Castleisland Family Resource Centre, Church Street, Castleisland which is in the building behind the St. Vincent de Paul Shop.

The programme will run for eight weeks from 10am -11.30 each Thursday from January 30th.
