Kerry County Council plans to establish Emergency Response Hubs for households impacted by electricity outages will be finalised this afternoon.

The hubs will be locatied in GAA clubs in order to provide assistance to households across Kerry who are still without electricity following Storm Éowyn.

Kerry County Council is establishing a number of hubs in GAA clubs around the county.

The locations of these hubs are currently being finalised.

Access to Basic Facilities

These hubs will allow those impacted by the loss of electricity, particularly vulnerable persons who require humanitarian assistance, to access basic facilities such as charging points and showers, etc. Currently, around 1,800 households remain without power following Storm Éowyn on Friday.

Further details will be provided later today on the locations of these Emergency Response Hubs and the times that these will be open to those who are still without electricity.
