Chairperson of Bóthar and local pig farmer, Shane McAuliffe has recently launched a Valentine’s Campaign encouraging people to share the love by giving transformative gifts to families in the developing world.
“The campaign offers options such as providing honey bees to women in Zambia, gifting a share of an Irish in-calf dairy heifer to a family in Kosovo, or supporting a tree planting project for women and girls in Tanzania who have been victims of trafficking and sexual exploitation,” said Shane about this year’s altruistic campaign.
“These gifts aim to offer hope and sustainable livelihoods to those in need,” he said.
