Checking my Weather Crock this morning, I was delighted to find that the water was well up the jole of the bottle. That’s good.
It put me in mind to check the Met Éireann forecast for this area for the next couple of days and it concurs with my crock.
I could call it a weather glass as it’s all glass. But I thought that would be presumptuous. A weather glass has beautifully designed hands and face and lots of spinners in its innards.
A Beautiful Autumn Day
I must get one and put it side by side with my crock and see how they perform.
I’ve also just heard the forecast on the radio at 1pm and it seems tomorrow is going to be a beautiful autumn day.
The following is the Met Éireann Forecast for today and tomorrow.
Today
Mostly cloudy and misty this morning with a few patches of rain. Brightening up in the afternoon but a few showers will develop, these locally heavy. Showers dying out to leave a mainly fine evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees with light southwest or variable winds.
Tonight
Largely dry overnight with clear spells but there will be a few patches of mist or fog. Minimum temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees with light, variable breezes.
Tomorrow
Once any early mist lifts, Monday will be a largely dry day with sunny spells and variable cloud. Top temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees in moderate southerly winds.
