Our U-11 team played in the Dylan Crowley Memorial tournament on Saturday 30th June. After beating Scartaglen and Gneeveguilla our team met Dromtarriffe of Cork in the Division 3 final.

In a good sporting contest Currow proved victorious on a score of Currow 2-12 to Dromtarriffe’s 1-5. After the game the Dylan Crowley trophy was presented to Currow captain David Healy.
U-16s in Sporting Contest with Churchill
On Friday 29th June our U-16 team travelled to Churchill to play the home side in the County League.
In a good sporting contest Churchill emerged victorious on a score line of Churchill 6-12 to Currow’s 5-8.
Next game for the team will take place on Wednesday 18th July against Knock/Brosna/Duagh in the County League, the game will throw in at 7pm in Currow.
U-14s – One up One Down
Our U-14 team played two East Kerry League games recently, on Monday 2nd July the team made the journey to Kilgarvan to play Kilgarvan-Tousist. In a even contest Currow won the game on a score of Kilgarvan-Tousist 5-7 to Currow’s 4-14. On Friday 6th our U-14s played host to Beaufort. In a game that may have gone either way Beaufort emerged the winners on a score of Currow 5-11 to Beaufort’s 3-20.
Next game will take place on Monday 16th July when our team will play Rathmore away in the East Kerry League.
U-12 – No Luck in Scart
On Saturday 7th July our U-12 mixed team participated in the Jack Rahilly Memorial Tournament in Scartaglin.
After defeats to Castleisland Desmonds and Gneeveguilla in the group stages our team then qualified to play Cordal in the plate final.
Unfortunately the Cordal team proved to be too strong and won the game on a score of Cordal 5-6 to Currow’s 2-3.
On Wednesday 18th the team will play in the Fitzgerald Stadium Blitz. The blitz will begin at 4pm and for more details contact club officers.
U-6 /U-8 and U-10s
Training will resume on Saturday 21st July after a break this Saturday due to the week’s Cúl Camps.
